How much does bicycle repair cost in Dubai?
Individual jobs at BikeSmith start at AED 30 for a puncture repair. Full service packages run from AED 110 to AED 739. Parts are charged separately. Every price is published, and every job is quoted before we travel.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. BikeSmith is a mobile service — a mechanic comes to your home or office anywhere in Dubai, with no call-out fee. Work that needs a workbench is collected and returned.
Can you tell me what is wrong before you arrive?
In most cases yes. Send a photo or a short description on WhatsApp and we will tell you the likely cause and the price before anyone travels.
How long does a repair take?
Most single jobs are done at your door in under an hour. A Wash & Tune takes about ninety minutes, a full service half a day. Work that has to go to the bench is usually back with you the next day, and we tell you which it is before we start.
Do you work on electric bikes?
Yes, including battery testing, motor and controller faults, display and wiring problems, and limiting a bike to the UAE legal speed. An e-bike still needs everything a normal bicycle needs, and the mechanical side is priced the same.
What if I do not know what is wrong with it?
That is the normal case, and it is what the symptom picker above is for. Tell us what the bike is doing rather than what you think is broken — a noise, a slip, a rub. Diagnosis costs nothing and we quote once we know.
Do you charge for parts on top of the price?
Yes, and we say so on every page. The published figure is labour for that job. Parts are charged at cost, and we tell you what they will be before fitting them rather than after.
What areas of Dubai do you cover?
All of Dubai. We would rather cover one city properly than claim the whole country and then quote you an hour of travel. If you are outside Dubai, message us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it.
Do I need to be there when you come?
Not necessarily. If someone can hand the bike over — a concierge, a colleague, a family member — that is enough. We send the quote and the photos to you either way, and nothing gets done without your agreement.
What if the bike is not worth repairing?
We will say so. On an old bike a worn drivetrain and worn wheels together can cost more than the bike is worth, and there is no version of that where quietly doing the work is the right answer. You get the number and the choice.
